Selling Everything and Traveling The World (DAY 1)
Hey Bros!
Chase here…
So here we go, yesterday our 9 year old, “Caleb” and I decided to rent a convertible mustang and begin driving south to our journey towards who knows where.
His mom stayed at the house to deal with the moving company to get a few of our last sentimental items in storage.
We will end up meeting her in Arizona or Texas likely in the next couple of days.
At this moment, Caleb and I are in Los Angeles attending water parks and arcades as we mozy our way along.
Now, I had so many people respond to my last post with a ton of great feedback that I didn’t expect to hear, so I’ve decided to keep documenting our journey.
I do need to clear a few things, many people commented and said, “Chase! Don’t sell Shine Ranker, we need you!”
When I said I was selling everything, I meant my physical possessions. I will of course keep working on the Shine Ranker tool and brand.
My Overall Thoughts About Everything
While staying in hotels and moving from area to area isn’t always my cup of tea, right now I am very excited for this next chapter of life and creating a ton of new experiences.
One of my goals is to travel to different areas where some of my SEO friends are and maybe post up for a month in a nice Air BNB while we wait for our passports to come in.
Remember, we were paying $7k a month for rent for the last year so we could be renting mansions at that rate anywhere else.
I was also thinking it would be cool to rent an RV for a week and stay out by a lake and do some fishing with the family.
The possibilities are endless, right?
I’d love to hear what you think we should do!
What’s Happening With The Shine Ranker Tool
In my last post, I explained how I was going to be working full-time on my tool, Shine Ranker.
I’m doing this for two reasons:
It’s easier to focus on one thing.
It’s going to be very hard for me to personally fulfill any services or courses while on the road.
Here’s the cool thing though.
I’m still planning on having courses and services under the Shine Ranker brand but I probably won't be doing them myself, rather experts I bring in to teach different topics.
I am fortunate to say that I now have the luxury to be able to pay for that sort of help.
Most of my time will now be spent on planning, making sure everything runs smoothly, and assuring what we make is quality products that our customers like.
Here’s the truth:
The Shine Ranker tool has had a TON of ups and downs, the most difficult part about it is just hiring developers and following through on deadlines.
The good news is I have a massive amount of updates planned for the tool, here is a screenshot.
In Conclusion
To be honest, I’m really enjoying writing lately, and I want to shoot for doing a personal blog every day on Chase Reiner but also on Shine Ranker.
Currently, I’m working on a post for Shine Ranker about the difference between Shine Ranker and other SEO tools.
It’s going to be hard to do much more than managing my team and writing while I’m traveling but maybe I’ll hop in and do a live stream every now and then, who knows.
As always, I love hearing from you, feel free to comment and let me know how you’re doing!
See ya later,
-Chase R
