A blackhat forum is a place where hackers share their knowledge and learnings. It has a set of rules with which members are expected to abide, so as to promote healthy discussions. Black hat refers to hackers who break into computer systems. To stay up with the newest advances, we frequently visit black hat forums. But which forum is the most effective?

The best way to know which among these black hat forums are the best is to join and ask a question. So the first thing I did was join black hat forums. Remember, whenever you join any forum, give time to visit the newbies section where you can also find the forum rules.

There are some forums where product and services advertisement, affiliate and internet marketing, website promotions are allowed while other forums keep it focused on the content and information you can get from the forums.

So, here's what I did. I signed up to different black hat forums and posted this question: "How much keywords should I use to rank a blog post?". I'm hoping to find relevant responses and see how fast I get those from each of the forums.

Let's see how it goes.

Black Hat World

What is Black Hat World Forum (https://www.blackhatworld.com/)? This is an SEO black hat forum where you can post your questions and get professional help from many different people who are skilled in the field. Registration is fairly easy. Simply put in your username, email and password. Wait for the confirmation email and you're good to go.

I visited the newbies section, it clearly states 3 rules:

Don't sell - newbies are not allowed to sell. If you want to sell you need to upgrade your account.
Don't spam - this includes posts with links leading to your website or a third party site.
Don't be a d*ck - nope, not a duck. I know you get this, but BHW (Black Hat World) requires everyone to have a basic level of respect.

With all these notes, I tried to start a thread asking the question and within 15 minutes, I got my first reply!

While waiting for responses, I have wandered around the blackhat website and it shows good content in general as well as really good answers to SEO questions that will really help you on your website as well as potential clients. It's a good place to pick someone's brain.

Black Hat SEO Forum

Upon registration, the Black Hat SEO Forum (https://blackhatseoforum.com/) has the same feel as the Black Hat World forum. Same interface and process. The difference is that Black Hat World has more organized discussion boards. Black Hat SEO Forum has a different focus for me. The forum list includes an SEO Marketplace, a BlackHat Freezone, Money Maker for the internet marketers, Web Design and Graphics Design, and lastly Social Media Marketing.

I tried to look into the BlackHat Freezone but there's not much in there but random stuff. So I tried to post a thread but it only gives me an option to select either BlackHat Freezone or Social Media Marketing. I decided to choose the blog spot category where it seems to be more relevant for my question.

After posting it shows that it is awaiting approval before my thread can be posted publicly. I don't know how long it takes before it gets approved. I tried to look for information about it, however I can't find it anywhere. So I went back to check on it, and it still shows pending approval after 2 hours.

The SEO Forum – White Hat, Black Hat, Grey Hat & More (SEO Isn't Dead)

This black hat forum is clean to look at and just focused on SEO alone. They have different categories that revolve around SEO like White Hat SEO, Black Hat SEO, Local SEO, SEO Tools, On Page SEO, Link Building, Technical SEO, TikTok SEO, Shopify SEO, SEM, and more.

So after registration, I posted a topic on a thread. It was posted immediately. However, it doesn't seem to be very active since the most recent post where there was a response was a few weeks back and the answers don't have much substance.

I think SEO Isn’t Dead would be a great forum with the focus it provides with the available categories if there were a lot more active users.

Best BlackHat Forum (BBHF)

Now let's look into the Best Black Hat Forum. Registration was quite long, with the security questions and image verification but everything went very fast once I'm done with the process. Looking at the forum list makes me think twice if I'm in the right forum. The first thing you'll see is the VIP section then a marketplace. You need to go further down to see the section where you can post a thread related to SEO.

Honestly, it's very confusing. I don't know what happened to my post if it was approved or not. I looked into my profile but it just shows 0 posts. Majority of the threads too are mostly people selling stuff which should be in the marketplace section if you ask me. I think people mainly use this forum for internet marketing purposes to get potential clients or offer their services.

There are sections there that caught my interest, the freebies section. However, I prefer not to download stuff on my computer. There are some cracked software, scripts, tools, and plugins. Again, if you decide to try these out, be cautious since we are never sure if these can get information from your computer or even have viruses. Download and install at your own risk.

Overall

There are some other forums I would like to include here like Black Hat Underground, Black Hat Devil, and Black Hat Team but it seems like these sites are not renewed or simply inaccessible.

In general, I think the best among these forums is Black Hat World. It has a pretty good user activity, a wide range of topics, and they also have a place for you to promote your services and even get backlinks and website views.

Best Black Hat Forums
